History

Hi-Hat Resale, a fine resale shop, has been a successful fund raising project for the Cadence Health Foundation (previously Delnor Foundation) ever since its founding in Wheaton in 1960. After a move to River Street in Batavia in 1981, Hi-Hat relocated to Geneva in 1983. Operating from Community Hospital’s historic Fulton Street House, which in the 1930s had been the site of Community’s Nurses’ Training School, it was staffed by volunteers.

In 1998 Hi-Hat Resale moved again. This time to more expansive quarters of a former church on Geneva’s Hamilton Street.
